Biloxi Blues Opens November 8th
Fountain Hills Theater presents the Neil Simon comedy, Biloxi Blues, the second in Neil Simon's trilogy which began with Brighton Beach Memoirs. When we last left Eugene Jerome, he was coping with adolescence in 1930's Brooklyn. Here, he is a young army recruit, going through basic training and learning about Life and Love with a capital 'L' along with some harsher lessons, while stationed at boot camp in Biloxi, Miss. in 1943. Winner of 3 Tony Awards!
Fountain Hills is privileged to be among the very few theater companies to present all three of Simon’s award-winning plays in a single season. Biloxi Blues will be followed by Broadway Bound in February.
FHT is delighted to have the very talented star of last season’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Elias Matthews portraying the pivotal role of Eugene Jerome in all three plays! Biloxi Blues is presented through Special Arrangement with Concord Theatricals and is directed by Gil Berry. * Rated PG-13 for adult themes and language.
