Pizza and Politics
Pizza & Politics is the theme of our Fountain Hills Republican Club meeting scheduled at 4 pm., Sat., September 15 at the Fountain Hills Community Center, 13001 N La Montana Drive, FH. All Republicans who will appear on the November 6th ballot have been invited. Confirmed participants as of last week are Congressman David Schweikert, Candidate for AZ State Senate Michelle Ugenti-Rita, Candidates for AZ State House – John Kavanagh and Jay Lawrence; and candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction Frank Riggs, more are expected.
Additionally Maricopa Board of Supervisors Chairman Steve Chucri will speak about the Primary Election and what steps are being taken to prevent a repeat of the chaos and disenfranchisement of voters, and possible voter fraud, on November 6th. A raffle drawing for a $1,000.00 VISA gift card will be held at the end of the meeting (winner need not be present). Raffle tickets will be available for purchase before the drawing. The meeting is open to all, membership in the Fountain Hills Republican Club is not requried. Registration opens at 3:15 pm.
